Music Curriculum Every day we have music in preschool… Singing with guitar accompaniment Singing games Action songs Call and response songs which preschoolers learn to lead Circle songs Playing small percussion instruments with CD or guitar accompaniment Movement activities with CD accompaniment Playing the violin, trumpet or flute We have a large selection of band and string instruments for the children to try out! Trumpet and violins are especially successful. Using a basic hold even a two year old can play a violin fairly successfully! Flute works when students try out just the head joint. Small percussion instruments are often played with guitar or CD accompaniment with and without singing. Students play trumpets during morning play. Students listen to a performance & then explore the harp. A student receives help with holding the violin. Children sing an action song.
