Music Curriculum

Every day we have music in preschool…

  • Singing with guitar accompaniment
  • Singing games
  • Action songs
  • Call and response songs which preschoolers learn to lead
  • Circle songs
  • Playing small percussion instruments with CD or guitar accompaniment
  • Movement activities with CD accompaniment
  • Playing the violin, trumpet or flute

We have a large selection of band and string instruments for the children to try out!

  • Trumpet and violins are especially successful.¬†Using a basic hold even a two year old can play a violin fairly successfully!
  • Flute works when students try out just the head joint.
  • Small percussion instruments are often played with guitar or CD accompaniment with and without singing.
